his method of collection is what the state labels as First Degree Burglary…at least that how the police report describes it.
This collection process began with Pitts leaving his white Toyota Corrolla abandoned and blocking the roadway on Southbound on Meadowood Circle in Mannford. Pitts then allegedly made his way to a residence within that proximity (address omitted from report) and entered that residence.
A phone call to Mannford Police Department reported a burglary in progress. A unit was dispatched and discovered the Corrolla while en route to the residence.Officer Jacob Bagwill left Officer Waltman with the vehicle and approached the residence. Upon arriving, he made contact with Aubrey Tiemey and Arvid Aadah. Tiemey was pointing a loaded firearm inside her residence at a young male who was later identified as Pitts.
Bagwill entered the residence and noticed that Pitts was resting on a bar stool inside the kitchen and dressed in shorts, a t-shirt only and wearing socks without shoes. His hands were resting in his lap and he appeared to be unarmed so Bagwill placed him in handcuffs. While escorting Pitts to his patrol car, Pitts allegedly made the statement that they (residents of the home) owed him $60 and he didn’t “like it when people owe him money.
An inventory of the vehicle, which is registered to Pitts, produced marijuana and a smoking pipe with a smell of burnt weed. He is scheduled for arraignment on October 2.
