Hefner: September 14. Elevation normal, water 80-84 and clear. White bass and striped bass hybrids good on grubs, lipless baits and sassy shad around points and the main lake. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits along coves and riprap. Channel and blue catfish good on punch bait, cut bait and worms along riprap and the main lake. Ft. Gibson: September 14. Elevation above normal, water 84 and clear. Crappie slow on minnows and Bonehead slim sticks at 6-8 ft. around brush structure, river channel and coves. Blue, flathead and channel catfish good on shad and cut bait in the main lake and along flats. White bass slow on in-line spinnerbaits and crankbaits at 6 ft. in the main lake and river channel. White bass fair on crankbaits, small lures, sassy shad and jigs at 6-10 ft. below the dam, around points and the main lake. Bluegill and sunfish fair on hair jigs, worms and tube jigs at 5-15 ft. around docks. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait and punch bait at 17-25 ft. anchor around points and creek channels and on cut bait at 10-20 ft. drifting flats. Arbuckle: September 12. Elevation normal, water 84 and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass slow on topwater lures early morning and on lipless baits and crankbaits later in the day from the surface to 12 ft. along  coves, rocks and the main lake. Channel and blue catfish good on dough bait, punch bait, cut bait and minnows along coves, creek channels and baited holes. Crappie and bluegill slow on minnows and jigs at 22 ft. around docks, brush structure and state brush piles. White bass good on lipless baits, slabs and crankbaits from the surface to 32 ft. in the main lake, coves and creek channels. Report submitted by Jack Melton.
Eufaula: September 13. Elevation normal, water clearing. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, spinnerbaits and plastic baits at 2-15 ft. around docks, points and rocks. White bass fair on jigs, slabs and sassy shad at 5-18 ft. below the dam, around points and bridges. Blue catfish slow on cut bait, shad and punch bait below the dam, along the river channel and the main lake. Konawa: September 14. Elevation normal, water 85 and clear. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits, spoons and crankbaits at 6-12 ft. along coves, weed beds and points. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, worms, stinkbait and dough bait at 6-12 ft. along creek channels, points and the inlet. Robert S. Kerr: September 13. Elevation normal, water slightly stained. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits and topwater lures at 4 ft. around standing timber and creek channels. Crappie good on minnows and jigs along creek channels at night. Blue and flathead catfish excellent on shad, plain shiny circle hooks, trotlines and juglines at 8 ft. along channels and the sandbar. Striped bass fair on shad colored crankbaits and sassy shad at 15 ft. along river channels, sandbars and deep holes on the Canadian  River from below Eufaula Dam to Sequoyah NWR. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good on buzz baits, plastic baits and crankbaits from the surface to 20 ft. around brush structure, creek channels and riprap. Striped and white bass good on live shad, sassy shad, slabs and topwater lures at 10-25 ft. below the dam, along the river channel and coves. Channel and blue catfish good on live bait, worms, stinkbait and ghost minnows at 10-20 ft. below the dam, along the main lake and riprap. Crappie and sunfish good on live bait, tube jigs, small lures and ghost minnows at 5-20 ft. around brush structure, docks and creek channels. Paddlefish good at 10-20 ft. below the dam.
