It is his perceptions which draw no conclusions or inferences, but those who see him as different that find distinction. He does not label others as the sheltered ones or judges of humanity. To him they are just people, different life styles than his, but still just people part of the same society in which he lives.
We separate ourselves from others through our judgments and perceptions. The conditions and the circumstances of others do not willfully separate us from them, only our choices can do that.
If we judge others, label them and make presumptions about them, we take away their identity from us and replace it with the one we want them to have. We ultimately deny ourselves the opportunity of knowing someone on the same journey as us, who is experiencing life through a different perspective that our prejudice will not allow us to understand.
