Mayor Tyler Butttram
The list has begun! We are now taking names for the list of people who would like to rent a unit in the new senior housing. This does NOT guarantee you a spot as there will be an application process you will eventually have to go through. If your interested, please call city hall and have your name put on the list. 918-865-4314.
The new American Heritage Bank drive thru is under construction and moving right along. This is the new building being constructed just to the west of McDonalds. It should be opened around the first of the year. Remember, the ATM is now inside of the Phelps Market now and not up on the hill at In-N-Out.
Speaking of In-N-Out, the new CNG station is coming along nicely next door. The new compressor is finished and just waiting on a crane to get freed up so it can be set here in the next few weeks. It will be a 24 hour a day pay at the pump station when completed.
The Crosstimbers/Mannford Harbor marina is adding on again. Thirty new slips have been ordered and will be constructed over the winter time. These are going to be large slips they said, so if you have a house boat or large cruiser you should call as soon as possible to reserve you a slip.
The folks that live on Aspen, Birch, Dogwood, Glendale, Gardenia, and Greenwood from the activity center to Hinton will all be getting new streets here in the next coming weeks. We are opening bids on October 7th to award the asphalt overlay project for all the named streets. We were able to receive a $150,000 grant to help pay for these specific areas so they will take first priority. Keep an eye out in the paper over the next few weeks for an exact start date so you will know when your road will be under construction.

Seya around town!
