A Mannford man has been arrested in Gage County Nebraska on an Oklahoma warrant. He is currently incarcerated in the Gage County Jail and is awaiting extradition, according to a corrections officer at that facility.
Ronald Alan Phillippe, 21, was arrested on unknown charges occurring in Gage County the officer said. He did explain that once the district attorney realized there was an Oklahoma warrant, the DA chose to not prosecute and let Creek County have him.
Philippe was initially arrested in January of this year after attempting to out run a Creek County deputy on foot.
He and two females were having car trouble near Carson Ridge Road when the deputy stopped to offer assistance. When the deputy began checking identifications after none of them responded to his inquiry to assist them, according to a PC affidavit.
Philippe began pacing around the vehicle during this time period and then darted across the road. The deputy pursued him into the woods and followed until Philippe broke through the ice of a shallow pond and yet still continued to run. Moments later, Philippe fell to the ground and was approached by the deputy with his weapon drawn.

g to the affidavit. He also pushed the deputy and yelled for him not to arrest him as he already had warrants out on him.
He was arrested on Obstructing an Officer, Assault & Battery on a Police Officer and Resisting Executive Order. His failure to appear in court on April 3rd resulted in the bench warrant for which he was arrested in Nebraska.
