• Jared Poulter – MHS February Student Of The Month. • Mannford Boys & Girls Basketball Teams are District Champions • (2) Mannford High School Wrestlers qualified & Placed in the State Tournament. • Paul Jensen finished 3rd • Willie Griffin finished 4th. • Brandon Marler has been selected for Academic All State. Academic All-State is one of the most challenging scholastic competitions, with extraordinarily high and multifaceted criteria. Only the very best students even qualify to be nominated. Making Academic All-State, ranks Brandon in the top 100 students academically in our State. He certainly is deserving of our praise and recognition for his outstanding accomplishment. • Destiny Carter – Received the Prudential Spirit of Community Presidents Volunteer Service Award. This is a National Award, signed by President Obama, recognizes outstanding HS students in our state and in our Nation for volunteer services that give back to people in need. The majority of Destiny’s hours were a result of spending her previous summer break providing lunches to underprivileged children in OKC. In addition, she was a teacher/leader of bible study to students in low income housing projects in OKC as well. • The following group of students have qualified for a National Speech & Debate Tournament.
