Keystone Village Senior Living Center recently celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with city leaders and those involved in its development and construction holding the big scissors. The spacious 34,000 sqare foot facility hosted many of Mannford’s business community as well as local residents wanting to get a glimpse into the town’s newest addition.

Thosae in attendance were welcomed by Mayor Tyler Buttram and his few words of gratitude to those who were responsible for making the dream come to life. Afterwards, people were invited to tour the facility and the two rooms which had been staged to give a view of what a furnished apartment will look like.

The facility contains a safe room, which is actually missile proof, according to the manufacturers. In addition, it has community recreation rooms, a library, full mail service, an elevator, back up generator, covered loading zone and even a membership to the Mannford Activity Center.

The apartments are equipped with a full size bedroom with large closets, walk-in showers, heated bathroom floors, ceiling fans, full size washer & dryer in each unit, cable and internet hook-up, wheelchair access and an emergency button that is monitored 24 hours. Handicap units are available as well.

The facility is located at 173 Greenwood Ave. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
