Rebecca Arlene Peterman, 69, of Cleveland, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017, at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Becky was born August 22, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She was the daughter of Raymond and Doris Arleene (Crier) Keeling.  Becky was raised in Sapulpa later graduating from Sapulpa High School with the Class of 1967.  During her time in high school, Becky cheered and was a highly thought of varsity cheerleader.  After graduation, Becky began working at Liberty Glass.  She later became employed with PPG in downtown Tulsa as a bookkeeper.  During that time at PPG, Becky met Jessie Peterman.  The two were later united in marriage on July 12, 1975, at her parents’ home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  Becky and Jessie continued working at PPG until 1984.  In 1984, the two went out on their own starting American Glass and Metal.  The two grew the company from a start-up to one of the largest glass and glazing companies in Oklahoma for the last 33 years.

Becky loved being outdoors.  Especially when she was out tending to her bird feeders, working in her flower garden or spending time with family at the boat.  She also enjoyed the family vacations to Copper Mountain snow skiing.  Becky and Jessie also enjoyed their vacations to Alaska, Mexico, and Turks Caicos; she was looking forward to their next trip to Hawaii.  She was also an excellent cook always preparing big dinners for the family.  Becky always went all out during each holiday decorating her home with nothing to spare.  She is described as a very persistent, tenacious, loving and vibrant person.  Always bringing her wonderful smile and hospitality to those that she was around.

Survivors are her husband Jessie of the home, daughter Brigette Hubanks and her husband Chad of Cleveland, Oklahoma, one brother Mike Keeling and his wife Lawanda of Kiefer, Oklahoma; two grandchildren Izabella and Wyatt Hubanks and numerous other family and friends.  Becky was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Broadway Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Foy officiating.  Burial will be held in the Sinnett Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma.  Friends may share a memory with the family online at www.chapman-black.com.Rebecca
