On Feb. 22, the second location of American Heritage Bank (AHB) will be opened next to Phelps Market.
In 1969, American Bankcorporation, Inc., the bank’s holding company, was formed, positioning it for phenomenal growth through the purchase of many area banks and savings institutions.
The Mannford new facility is the sixth AHB location added since 2012. It will be the 21st location in 15 area communities with a staff of more than 300 people.
The bank decided to construct the second location next to the grocery store in Mannford, because bank leaders and employees wanted to be involved in the opportunity, which the fast developing area by Highway 51 brings.
“The second location in Mannford will have five drive-thru lanes, drive-thru ATM, and main lobby, where we will offer teller services as well as new account openings, including IRAs and CDs,” said Ashley Bonniger, the AHB Branch Supervisor at the new facility.
“Many bank customers expressed satisfaction about the new location on the highway because of its convenience,” Bonniger continued.
“The new location lobby and drive-thru will be opened on Saturdays from 8:30 am to noon,” she added. “Monday through Friday hours for the drive-thru are 8 am to 6 pm, and for the lobby, they are from 9 am to 6 pm.”
Several employees will be he location. These are Leslie Beck, Commercial Teller, and Crystal Watson, Vault Teller, who have been with the bank many years; Jolene Bradford and Tara Hanson, recently hired tellers. Kayla O’Kelley is a teller too, she has worked for the bank half a year.
Josh Robinson has been with the bank 13 years. He is the Mannford Branch Manager and AHB Assistant Vice President. Robinson is responsible for existing and new locations in Mannford.
Ashley Bonniger, the supervisor, has been with the AHB since 2013. She started as a teller in the Cleveland branch, and then promoted to Loan Administrative Assistant. Currently, Bonniger accepted the Branch Supervisor opportunity.
“I am excited to work at the new location,” she said.
The other employees are also enthusiastic about moving there.
An open house will be held for customers at the new location sometime after the opening date.
